This winter journey is the perfect counterpart to our Active Alps & Dolomites Discovery – 10-Day Alpine Adventure and can also be combined with a Wellness Villa Escape in Tuscany for a relaxing post-ski retreat.

Overview – Dolomites skiing trip (Entry level)

This Dolomites skiing trip is a week-long winter escape designed for travellers who want to experience the magic of the Dolomites in a comfortable, authentic and accessible way. You stay in cozy 4★ superior alpine hotels or family-run lodges, close to lifts and villages, and spend your days skiing groomed pistes, enjoying mountain food and soaking up alpine views.

The focus of this entry-level Dolomites skiing trip is simple: good skiing, good food, good atmosphere. We take care of airport transfers, accommodation, basic logistics and a selection of local experiences such as mountain hut lunches or tastings, while you choose how hard you want to ski each day. Our team is on hand to help with ski pass arrangements and equipment rental, so you don’t lose time in queues or paperwork.

For guests wishing to enhance their stay, we can add higher-category hotels, spa days, private guides or helicopter panoramas as optional upgrades, but the core package already gives you a complete and enjoyable Dolomites experience at entry level.

Sample week – Entry-level Dolomites skiing trip

Day 1 – Arrival & alpine welcome
Arrive at the nearest airport (for example Venice, Innsbruck or Verona), where a shared transfer takes you to your alpine village in the Dolomites. Check in to your 3★ superior hotel or lodge, pick up your ski equipment (if renting) and enjoy a relaxed evening with a typical mountain dinner and first views of the peaks.

Day 2 – First day on the slopes
After breakfast, head to the lifts for your first full day of skiing. Follow clearly marked pistes suitable to your level and get familiar with the ski area. In the evening, unwind at the lodge and explore local bars or small restaurants in the village.

Day 3 – Exploring the ski area
Continue your Dolomites skiing trip with another full day on the slopes. Try new runs or a different sector of the ski area. We can suggest itineraries (such as panoramic loops or easier routes) so you make the most of your pass. Optional: book a few hours with a local instructor to refine your technique.

Day 4 – Ski & mountain food
Ski in the morning, then enjoy a long lunch in a mountain hut (rifugio), tasting regional dishes like canederli, polenta or speck. In the afternoon, you can keep skiing or return early to the village for a walk, a hot chocolate or an aperitif in a cosy bar.

Day 5 – Flex day: more skiing or winter walk
Use this day according to your rhythm:

  • Full ski day for those who want to keep going, or

  • A gentle winter walk or snowshoe outing on marked trails, followed by a relaxed afternoon in the village.
This is also a good day to add an optional spa visit or wine/cheese tasting.

Day 6 – Final ski highlights
Return to your favourite slopes, or explore one last corner of the ski area. Take time for photos at panoramic viewpoints and enjoy your final runs of the trip. In the evening, you might celebrate with a nice farewell dinner in a recommended local restaurant.

Day 7 – Departure
After breakfast, check out and join your shared transfer back to the airport, carrying home memories of your Dolomites skiing trip and the relaxed atmosphere of alpine winter life.
