Overview – Montepulciano Wine Truffle Retreat

This Montepulciano wine and truffle retreat is a 2-night escape designed for food and wine lovers who want to experience the very best of Vino Nobile, truffles and Tuscan hospitality without having to plan anything themselves. Your home base is the charming Palazzo San Donato in the heart of Montepulciano, from which you’ll enjoy curated tastings, hands-on experiences and local restaurants selected with care.

Over three days you will take part in a Nobile wine masterclass inside the palazzo, learn to cook with truffles during an intimate cooking class followed by dinner, join a truffle hunt in the countryside, savour a truffle lunch at traditonal agriturismo, enjoy a light dinner at Porta di Bacco and end your stay with a guided tour of the beautiful Parco Villa Trecci. This retreat is ideal for couples, friends or small groups who appreciate authentic flavours, storytelling and a relaxed but well-organised programme.
